News Pics! Steven Pasquale, Leslie Kritzer and the Cast of The Robber Bridegroom Greet the Press Rehearsals are underway for the New York revival of Alfred Uhry and Robert Waldman鈥檚 musical comedy The Robber Bridegroom, starring Steven Pasquale as Jamie Lockhart. Joining The Bridges of Madison County star will be Broadway's Leslie Kritzer as Salome and Greg Hildreth as Goat. The cast greeted the press Feb. 4.

Helmed by Tony nominee , the cast also includes as Little Harp, as Big Harp, Ahna O鈥橰eilly as Rosamund, as Raven/Goat鈥檚 Mother, as Clement Musgrove and Devere Rogers as Airie/Man.

Previews will begin Feb. 18 with an official opening night set for March 13. The limited engagement will run through May 29 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The show will have music direction by with choreography by .

The musical, which debuted on Broadway in 1975 with (as Jamie) and (as Rosamund), is described by Roundabout as "a raucous, hilarious, sexy theatrical gem with an irresistibly catchy bluegrass score." Stand-out songs from the score include "Sleepy Man" and "Nothin' Up." The work is based on the 1942 novella.

"The Robber Bridegroom transports the audience to the Natchez Trace in Mississippi," continue press notes. "A dangerous and mysterious corner of the country teeming with a rogue鈥檚 gallery of the most beguiling con men, hucksters, and charlatans you鈥檒l ever meet. Chief among them, Jamie Lockhart 鈥� fair鈥恌aced gentleman by day, hard鈥恏earted bandit of the woods by night. When he falls for the beautiful daughter of a wealthy planter, his world and code of ethics are turned upside down."

The show features music by Waldman and lyrics and a book by Uhry. The revival's creative team includes (sets), Emily Rebholz (costumes), Jeff Croiter and (lighting), and Charles Coes (sound), Levine and (orchestrations), Leah Loukas (wig and make-up) and Jacob Grigolia-Rosenbaum (fight director.)
