News See Michael C. Hall Perform Haunting Title Track from Lazarus (Video) "Dexter" and Hedwig star Michael C. Hall made an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Dec. 17 to perform the title track from the new Off-Broadway musical Lazarus, a collaboration between Tony-winning playwright Enda Walsh and David Bowie.

The song is performed by Hall in the world-premiere musical, which features new songs specially composed by Bowie as well as new arrangements of previously recorded songs; the musical is currently running at . Inspired by Walter Tevis' best-selling 1963 novel "The Man Who Fell to Earth," the story follows Thomas Newton 鈥� played by Hall 鈥� a human-looking and lovelorn alien who has been abandoned on the planet.

The Off-Broadway production, which officially opened Dec. 7, is helmed by Obie winner ; following an initial sell-out and numerous extensions, it is now scheduled to run through Jan. 20, 2016.
