International News Tony Winner Richard McCabe and Joseph Kloska to Bring Two-Part Cicero Drama Imperium to the West End The two will reprise their performances at London鈥檚 Gielgud Theatre following a run at Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Imperium, Mike Poulton鈥檚 two-part stage adaptation of Robert Harris鈥� Cicero Trilogy, will transfer to London鈥檚 West End for a 12-week engagement. Performances will run June 14 through September 8 at the Gielgud Theatre.

The production, from Royal Shakespeare Company Artistic Director Gregory Droan, previously played the Swan Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Leading the cast are Tony and Olivier winner Richard McCabe (The Audience) and Joseph Kloska (Written on the Heart), both reprising their performances.

The company will also include Nicholas Boulton, Guy Burgess, Daniel Burke, Jade Croot, Peter De Jersey, Joe Dixon, John Dougall, Michael Grady-Hall, Oliver Johnstone, Paul Kemp, Patrick Knowles, Hywel Morgan, David Nicolle, Siobhan Redmond, Patrick Romer, Christopher Saul, Eloise Secker, and Simon Thorp. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The play, told in two parts (Conspirator and Dictator), explores the rise of Cicero as he seeks to preserve the Roman Republic through the eyes of his loyal secretary.

The production features sets and costumes by Anthony Ward, lighting design by Mark Henderson, sound design by Claire Windsor, and original music by Paul Englishby.
