Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Project Erik
Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager at Project Erik is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the venue. This role ensures that all facility-related activities, including maintenance, security, and compliance with regulations, are managed effectively to provide a safe and welcoming environment for staff and patrons. The Facilities Manager works closely with internal teams and external vendors to uphold the highest standards of venue operations. Facilities Manager will be expected to be onsite 6 days per week, and work evenings.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, escalators, and structural integrity.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and facility upgrades.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and health standards.
Monitor and maintain security measures, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response plans.
Supervise and manage janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for facility operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring facility readiness for all scheduled events.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential facility issues proactively.
Work collaboratively with other departments to support event logistics and operational needs.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring quick resolution of facility-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
Possession of, or ability to get certifications for all necessary areas of building operations.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in facility management software and basic computer applications.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Able to go up and down stairs
Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor and high-noise environments.

Compensation & Benefits:
Project Erik will provide a yearly salary of $70,000, and monthly nontaxable health insurance stipend of $500.
Facilities Manager will be allowed two weeks of paid time off. Paid time off may not be taken before October 1, 2025.

SALARY
