TWENTY-FIVE: Gay man in his late 20s or 30s. Everything about the way he presents himself to the world is calculated, curated. His life and his communities are compartmentalized. He is young, but looks and feels tired. (to appear in underwear)
NINETY-FIVE: Queer woman in her 40s. In theory, she performs for a living, but mostly she auditions and slings cocktails at a dive-y gay bar. Her role involves some "talk-singing" in the form of scales/vocal warmups, so the actor who plays her should be comfortable with her voice.
SIXTY-FIVE: Primarily known in her community as a drag queen. (In her day-to-day life, people may also refer to herself as a gay man, other times as a transvestite.) She is at home in the privacy of this play's setting; she's done exactly this many times before (get dressed/un-dressed in a dive bar bathroom). She loves herself loudly, though it's clear that didn't happen overnight. Age-wise, the actor playing her should read younger than the other two, though her drag persona feels older.
