News Actors From School of Rock, Book of Mormon, Wicked, Mamma Mia! and More to Sing for World Peace The fifth annual Artists for World Peace on Broadway, an evening of song and dance, will be offered Oct. 11 at Joe’s Pub. There will also be a party with the cast after the show in the Public Theater’s Bar and Restaurant “The Library.�

The 9:30 PM concert will feature some of Broadway’s favorite performers including (, , ), Alan Ariano (, Miss Saigon, Broadway), (, , Ghost, White Christmas), (, Les Mis), Dionne D. Figgins (, , ), Eric Giancola (Something Rottten!, (, Mamma Mia!, Ghost), (Cinderella, , Bloody Bloody), (Mamma Mia!, ), (The King and I, Mamma Mia!), (Baby It's You), Jen Perry (Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia!), (), (Mamma Mia!), (Whorl Inside a Loop, , Motown, Memphis, Ghost, ), (), (, , Shrek, White Christmas) and (, Mamma Mia!).

The fifth annual Artists for World Peace on Broadway will be hosted by Paul and Robbie Rescigno (The Rescignos) and feature music direction by Brandon Sturiale.

Artists for World Peace links communities of Artists with communities in need.

During the event, the performers wear The International Peace Belt (TIPB), created by Artists For World Peace founder Wendy Black-Nasta, with coins and gems representing 115 countries. Since its completion in 2003, TIPB has traveled to over 30 countries on 5 continents. Wherever TIPB travels, dancers, artists, musicians, peace activists, and spiritual leaders meditate on and lend their voices to support peace. In this way, TIPB is transformed into a living link between cultures and a symbol of peace and unity of all nations, of all people as one.
