Further casting has been revealed for the Williamstown Theatre Festival season. The upcoming season is being led by Creative Collective Creative Director Harris, part of a new leadership structure for the Festival created to ensure boundary-breaking and diverse programming.
Newly announced in the cast of Tennesee Williams' Camino Real are Tony Danza, Vin Knight, and April Matthis. They join the previously announced Pamela Anderson and Nicholas Alexander Chavez. Directed by Dustin Wills, it will run July 19-August 3 on the MainStage.
Joining the previously announced lineup for Tennesee Williams' Not About Nightingales is You star Elizabeth Lail. With Robert O'Hara directing, the production will also star Brian Geraghty, William Jackson Harper, Sydney Lemmon, and Chris Messina. It will run July 17-August 3 on the NikosStage
The first actors for the world premiere of Jeremy O. Harris' Spirit of the People have also been revealed. Tonatiuh (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Emma Ramos, Julian Sanchez, Christopher Geary, Amandla Jahava, Ato Blankson-Wood (Cabaret), and James Cusati-Moyer (Slave Play) will perform in the production, directed by Katina Medina Mora. It will play the MainStage July 17-August 1. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
