25 Standout Looks at the 2025 Tony Awards Red Carpet

Theatre people know how to bring the drama. Not just on the stage, but at the 2025 Tony Awards, where they offered some head-turning looks on the red carpet. The most talked-about look of the night was Cole Escola, who paid tribute to Bernadette Peters with their look from Wiederhoeft (and also picked up a Tony statue in the process).

Then there was host Cynthia Erivo, who wore 10 looks throughout the entire night. There was Tony winner Jak Malone, whose suit contained many references to their standout song in Operation Mincemeat, "Dear Bill." There was 2025 Tony nominee Daniel Dae Kim, who wore a modern reinterpretation of a Korean hanbok (courtesy of Mee Hee). And then there was Kara Young, who wore a fierce re-interpretation of a men's tuxedo from Thom Browne (with a removable train so she could easily get up on the stage at Radio City Music Hall to accept her second Tony Award).

And it wasn't just actors: Tony-nominated costume designer Dede Ayite brought the drama in a red sculptural gown by PISTIS Ghana, and Tony-nominated sound designer Palmer Hefferan channeled the Roaring '20s with her embellished semi-see-through black gown and chic bob.
