Rachel Zatcoff (Maria in the international tour of West Side Story) will make her Broadway debut as the Christine Alternate, one of two cast members that rotate in the leading female role of Christine. Her debut performances will be the Sept. 2 evening performance and the Sept. 3 matinee. Thereafter, she'll play Monday evenings and Saturday matinees.
, an original star of the new production of Phantom on its North American tour, will assume the role of Monsieur Firmin beginning Aug. 31.
Zatcoff succeeds as the Christine Alternate, and Bennett succeeds Tony Award nominee as Monsieur Firmin. Both will give their final performances Aug. 29. Voorhees made her Broadway debut in Phantom and next joins Phantom director to begin rehearsals for his next project, Prince of Broadway, which will have its world premiere this Fall in Japan.
Jerome joined Phantom as part of two major milestones for the Broadway production: the record-breaking in 2006, when the musical became the longest-running show in Broadway history; and later returning for the 25th Anniversary in 2013.

Based on the classic novel "Le Fant么me de L'Op茅ra" by , The Phantom of the Opera, according to producers, "tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command."
