Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 begins its world premiere run of Caitlin Saylor Stephens' Five Models in Ruins, 1981 in its Off-Broadway Claire Tow Theater April 19. Opening night will be May 5, and the run will continue through June 1.
The new work is set at a European estate just after Princess Diana's wedding and follows a fashion photographer, whose assignment to shoot the cover of Vogue threatens to be her last. Elizabeth Marvel leads the cast as Roberto, with the company also including Stella Everett as Chrissy, Maia Novi as Tatiana, Britne Oldford as Alex, Sarah Marie Rodriguez as Grace, and Madeline Wise as Sandy.
Wilma Theater Co-Artistic Director Morgan Green is directing, leading a creative team that includes scenic designer Afsoon Pajoufar, costume designer Vasilija Zivanic, lighting designer Cha See, and sound designer Kathy Ruvuna. Kara Kaufman is serving as stage manager.
