News David Bowie's Lazarus Reveals How To Get Last-Minute and $25 Tickets New York Theatre Workshop has announced that a limited number of extra tickets, as well as $25 CheapTix will be available for Lazarus, which begins previews Off-Broadway Nov. 18. The world-premiere production is a collaboration between Tony-winning playwright Enda Walsh (Once), rocker David Bowie and acclaimed director Ivo Van Hove.

Kicking off with first preview, a very limited number of last-minute tickets for select performances will be released by the theatre. To be notified of when they are available, theatregoers are urged to follow NYTW on Twitter @NYTW79 and frequently check the .

Beginning Dec. 28, NYTW will hold a daily CheapTix lottery at the theatre, two and a half hours prior to curtain. Theatregoers can enter the lottery for a chance to purchase $25 tickets on the day of each performance. Alternatively, they can also join the cancelation line which begins two hours before curtain and will have tickets available at full price.

Lazarus is written by Tony-winning playwright Walsh (Once) with music by Bowie. The cast includes "Dexter" and Hedwig star , (Once) and 's .

The show, which officially opens Dec. 7, features new songs specially composed by Bowie as well as new arrangements of previously recorded songs. Following an initial sell-out and extension, performances now run through Jan. 17, 2016.

The Off-Broadway production is helmed by Obie winner Van Hove, who returns to NYTW following his acclaimed staging of Scenes From a Marriage 

The cast also includes (), Sophia Anne Caruso (The Nether), (Whorl Inside A Loop), Lynn Craig (), (Year of the Rooster), Krista Pioppi ( national tour), (The Wild Party) and ().

Lazarus is inspired by Walter Tevis' best-selling 1963 novel "The Man Who Fell to Earth," about a human-looking alien who comes to Earth seeking a way to bring water back to his dying home planet. It was also adapted into a film in 1976 starring Bowie in the lead role of Thomas Newton.
