News Deadline Critic Will Help Rebecca Luker and Christian Campbell Explore The Doctor's Dilemma Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of artistic director David Staller, will continue Oct. 19 at 7 PM with a reading of The Doctor鈥檚 Dilemma at Symphony Space鈥檚 Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.) in New York.

The cast will include (Redpenny), Nora Chester (Emmy), (Sir Colenso Ridgeon), Ames Adamson (Sir Patrick Cullen), (Sir Bloomfield Bonington), (Cutler Walpole), (Leo Schutzmacher), Dan Daily (Dr. Blenkensop), (Jennifer Dubedat), Christian Campbell (Louis Dubedat), Blair Busbee (Minnie Tinwell) and Chris Ryan (Mr. Danby).

Deadline theatre critic Jeremy Gerard will be the Narrator and The Newspaper Man.

In a statement director Staller said, 鈥淭his particularly provocative comedy takes on the entire medical profession along with the importance of a National Health plan, while examining the value of science versus art鈥攁nd remains as maddeningly relevant today as it did when it first appeared in 1906.鈥�

"A question of medical ethics is central to The Doctor鈥檚 Dilemma," according to press notes. "Dr. Colenso Ridgeon (Michael Cumpsty) must choose between saving Louis Dubedat (Christian Campbell)鈥攁 talented and charming artist who has borrowed money with no intention of repayment and has deceived his devoted wife Jennifer (Rebecca Luker鈥攁nd helping a poverty-stricken doctor who treats indigent patients. The dilemma is further complicated when the doctor realizes he may have fallen in love with Jennifer."
