Following his acclaimed 2012 opera The Importance of Being Earnest, Irish composer Gerald Barry returns to the LA Philharmonic November 22 with Alice's Adventures, his take on Lewis Carroll's celebrated novel, Alice in Wonderland. With a libretto by Barry, the world-premiere production is conducted by Thomas Ad猫s, and stars Barbara Hannigan as Alice.
