Olivia Kaufmann (Mean Girls), Emma Pittman (The Outsiders), and Olivia Puckett (Dear Evan Hansen) will star in an invite-only industry reading of The Emily Dickinson Musical in NYC at Ripley-Grier Studios June 23.
The musical, offering a close lens on the audacity and free-spirit behind the prolific American poet, will feature a book and direction by Makena Reynolds, with music by Teagan Reynolds and JT Kaufman, and lyrics by Reynolds.
Kaufmann will star as Emily Dickinson, joined by Pittman as Sue, and Puckett as Mabel.
The cast will also include Josh Andr茅s Rivera (The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes), Tony nominee A.J. Shively (Paradise Square, Bright Star), Aubrey Matalon (Six), Jared Loftin (Teeth), Anne Tolpegin (Les Miserables), Chris Hoch (Amazing Grace, War Paint), Zoe Killian, Brynn Ayoob, Gabriella Anifantis, Oliver Richman, and Anthony Scarpone.
Kathleen Rose Gallardo will serve as stage manager.
