Industry readings of Focus, a new play by Alex Webb, will be presented in Manhattan April 24鈥�25.
Directed by Emmy and Tony Award winner Jason Alexander (Seinfeld, Jerome Robbins' Broadway), the cast will feature Brandon Victor Dixon (Hell鈥檚 Kitchen, Shuffle Along...), Spencer Garrett (Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood, Air Force One), Erin Mackey (Wicked, Anything Goes), Shirley Rumierk (Rise, Manifest), and Shirleyann Kaladjian (The Greatest Beer Run Ever).
The play follows a group of strangers who are brought together to conduct a focus group about an unknown product.
Focus was a semi-finalist for the Burton Playwriting Award and previously had readings with Theater 808 and Ground Up Productions. Webb鈥檚 other plays include Amelia and blackandblue.
Alexander made his Broadway directorial debut with The Cottage.
