There's something in the air鈥攓uite possibly a phantasm. Or at least, No毛l Coward's ghostly comedy Blithe Spirit is having an international moment.
The 1941 play , starring Dan Stevens and Judi Dench. Now, Theatre Royal Bath's new Richard Eyre鈥揾elmed revival has released production photos, featuring Absolutely Fabulous creator and star Jennifer Saunders as Madame Arcati, whose dabbling in the occult leads to some very troublesome domestic drama for blocked writer Charles Condomine as his dead first wife begins to haunt him, much to the chagrin of his very much alive second wife.
Opening night is set for June 19 and performances are scheduled to conclude July 6.
