Jonathan Whitton has joined Tony, Olivier, and Peabody Award-winning production company Seaview as their newest General Manager for Studio Seaview. Whitton is overseeing Penelope Skinner's Angry Alan, the inaugural production of their new Off-Broadway space Studio Seaview, directed by Sam Gold and starring John Krasinski.
Whitton previously served on the general management team at the Second Stage Theater for almost 15 years, managing both the Tony Kiser (now Studio Seaview) and McGinn-Cazale Theaters. Whitton was instrumental in the renovation and reopening of Broadway's Helen Hayes Theater. He has also held management positions at Baseline Theatrical, Audible Theater, and Signature Theatre.
Founded in 2012 by Greg Nobile and Jana Shea, Seaview is a New York-based theatre, film, and teleivision company known for its innovative approach to storytelling.
