Two-time Tony winner Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera, Nice Work If You Can Get It) will lead Theatre Aspen's summer production of Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer-winning play Driving Miss Daisy.
Directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster, performances are scheduled for June 12-28.
Kaye, who will play the widowed Daisy Werthan, will be joined by Bernard Dotson (Finian鈥檚 Rainbow, Paradise Square) as her Black chauffeur Hoke Colburn, and Jim Poulos (Rent) as her son, Bollie Werthan.
The initially troubled relationship between Daisy and Hoke eventually blossoms into a life-altering friendship that transcends the societal boundaries placed between them.
