Mark MacKillop, the reigning top solo fundraiser for Broadway Cares, is hosting an invitation-only salon and cocktails as part of his ongoing fundraising efforts.
The salon will be hosted at the home of New York Pops conductor Steven Reinke and Eric Gabbard June 15, and will feature Grammy winner Billy Stritch at the piano. Currently scheduled to perform are Tony Award nominee Lorna Courtney (& Juliet), Brent Comer (The Outsiders), Telly Leung (Allegiance), and Abby Mueller (SIX: The Musical). More performers will be revealed in the coming days.
MacKillop, originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, has performed in the national tours of Dirty Dancing and Anastasia as well as with Atlanta Ballet, Boston Ballet, and ABT.
Broadway Cares is one of the nation鈥檚 leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources, and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 Broadway Cares has awarded more than $300 million for essential services for people with HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.
