Upon receiving her portrait, Scherzinger said, "I can officially say that this moment for me, right now, is the greatest of them all. I鈥檓 having so many firsts, from making my Broadway debut to casually celebrating New Year鈥檚 Eve with the legendary Patti LuPone to now showing the right side of my face, which is a rare sighting thanks to Jamie Lloyd."
"In all seriousness, it has taken over 30 years to realize this Broadway childhood dream," Scherzinger added. "It鈥檚 been a very long road, but that鈥檚 what has made being here with all of you today that much sweeter. I stand here today with the deepest gratitude for your love, for your support. To my team, I see all of you here, for believing in me most of all. And finally, to my wickedly talented Sunset Boulevard family, I feel so blessed to get to do this show with all of you, every single performance. You actually don鈥檛 know how much I beam up every time I see you at the top of the second act鈥攐ur beautiful Tom Francis on the big screen, where you should always be and will always be, forever, my heart. Thank you for lifting me up and inspiring me every day. This is one of the greatest rides of my life, and I can鈥檛 imagine doing it with any more supremely divine, talented human beings.
