Rob Ruggiero will direct the Tony-winning musical at the 2025 Tony-winning Regional Theatre.

Michael Fabisch, who starred in the title role of the recent national tour of Dear Evan Hansen, will reprise his performance for the St. Louis Muny's upcoming production of the Tony-winning musical.

Directed by Rob Ruggiero with choreography by Beth Crandall and music direction by conductor Roberto Sinha, performances are scheduled for July 28-August 3 at the 2025 Tony-winning Missouri venue.

The cast will also include Jackie Burns as Heidi Hansen, Maggie Lakis as Cynthia Murphy, Rob McClure as Larry Murphy, Afra Sophia Tully as Zoe Murphy, Joshua Bess as Connor Murphy, Bryan Munar as Jared Kleinman, and Savy Jackson as Alana Beck.

Dear Evan Hansen features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story) and a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (tick, tick...BOOM! movie).

Dear Evan Hansen opened on Broadway in December 2016, going on to win six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. A film version, starring original Evan, Tony winner Ben Platt, nationwide September 24, 2021.

The Broadway production played its final performance at the Music Box Theatre September 18, 2022. Dear Evan Hansen ended its run at London's No毛l Coward Theatre October 22, 2022, nearly three years after its West End premiere on October 29, 2019.

The upcoming production will also have scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Joseph Shrope, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Kevan Loney, and wig design by J. Jared Janas. Casting is by The Telsey Office's Rashad Naylor. Gabi Stapula is the associate choreographer.

The Muny artistic staff includes Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson, Associate Artistic Director Michael Baxter, Director of Production Tracy Utzmyers, and Music Supervisor Michael Horsley.

Season 107 at The Muny includes Bring It On: The Musical (June 16-22), Come From Away (June 26-July 2), Disney鈥檚 Frozen (July 6-14), Evita (July 18-24), Dear Evan Hansen (July 28-August 3), La Cage aux Folles (August 8-14), and Jersey Boys (August 18-24).
