The hour-long program is part of the 2014 PBS Arts Fall Festival.
鈥淔or years I鈥檝e been interested in reviving the classic variety show format, to display the wide range of contemporary talent 鈥� from pop music to theater to television and film stars 鈥� all performing songs drawn from the vast canon of the Great American Songbook,鈥� Feinstein said in a statement. 鈥淚t is rare these days to have a swinging 17-piece band for our soundtrack, and they truly made classic sounds come alive in a contemporary way. We鈥檙e so proud of the dazzling results.鈥�
Feinstein is joined by two-time Tony winner , stage and screen star , 鈥淎merican Idol鈥� contestant Jessica Sanchez, tap duo the Manzari Brothers and Oscar-nominated actress June Squibb.
The show was produced, directed and written by Marc Cherry, creator of the hit television shows 鈥淒esperate Housewives鈥� and 鈥淒evious Maids.鈥�
The concert takes place in the newly restored New York restaurant and nightclub, high atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
