New York City Center has announced its dance lineup for the 2025-26 season, which will feature visiting companies from around the world, appearances by stars including Tiler Peck and Olga Smirnova, and new works by choreographers including Alexei Ratmansky and Hofesh Shechter.

The season will open with City Center's annual Fall for Dance Festival, running September 16-27. The 22nd season of the yearly festival will include performances by Argentina's Social Tango Project, Germany's Stuttgart Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, San Francisco Ballet, artists Hannah O'Neill and Hugo Marchand from the Paris Opera Ballet, and a commissioned work from kNoname Artist.

The Paris Opera Ballet will return to City Center for the first time since 2012, presenting the New York premiere of Red Carpet by Tony-nominated choreographer Hofesh Shechter (Fiddler on the Roof). Red Carpet is Schechter's first work created for the Paris Opera Ballet, and will feature costumes created in partnership with Chanel.

Tiler Peck will return with an encore presentation of her program Turn It Out with Tiler Peck & Friends, featuring Peck alongside stars including India Bradley, Michelle Dorrance, Roman Mejia, Jillian Meyers, and more. The program includes William Forsythe's The Barre Project, Blake Works II; Alonzo King's Swift Arrow; and Peck's own Thousandth Orange, set to music by Caroline Shaw. The program will also include Time Spell, a collaboration between Peck, Dorrance, and Meyers commissioned by City Center.

The Dutch National Ballet will perform two programs in November, both featuring former Bolshoi star Olga Smirnova. The programs will feature works by Ted Brandsen, Wubkje Kuindersma, Jerome Robbins, Hans van Manen, Mthuthuzeli November, Ji艡铆 Kyli谩n, and a new work by Alexei Ratmansky, which will have its world premiere as part of the Holland Festival in June 2025.

The Dance Theatre of Harlem will revive its version of Stravinsky's Firebird, choreographed by John Taras with sets and costumes by Geoffrey Holder. The 1982 production reimagines the Russian folk tale in a Caribbean setting. Firebird will be performed in a program alongside new and recent works by the company's Artistic Director Robert Garland.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will bring its centennial celebration to City Center in April, presenting three of Graham's most beloved works: Night JourneyChronicle, and Appalachian Spring. All three feature stage designs by Isamu Noguchi. The company will also present new works by Jamar Roberts and Baye & Asa, as well as a special centennial creation with further details to be announced.

The 2025-26 will also see the annual returns of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre for a five-week holiday residency; Ballet Hisp谩nico, presenting a program dedicated entirely to female choreographers; and the 25th annual Flamenco Festival, featuring Ballet Flamenco Sara Baras.

Finally, Paris Opera Ballet 脡toile Hugo Marchand will curate City Center's fifth Artists at the Center program, running July 23-25. Marchand will perform Maurice B茅jart's 叠辞濒茅谤辞, a solo set to Ravel's 叠辞濒茅谤辞 which was originally created in 1961 for Du拧anka Sifnios. The program will also include a pas de deux from Angelin Preljocaj's Le Parc, danced with Doroth茅e Gilbert; Hans van Manen's Trois gnossiennes, danced with L茅onore Baulac; and Serait-ce la mort ? with dancers from B茅jart Ballet Lausanne.
