News THE CALL BOARD: Collegiate Chorale Holds Open Auditions The Collegiate Chorale � the New York City volunteer chorus that is announced to perform Monty Python's Not The Messiah with Eric Idle, Victoria Clark, Marc Kudisch, Lauren Worsham and William Ferguson at Carnegie Hall this season � will hold open auditions Oct. 2.

The Collegiate Chorale is helmed by Tony Award-winning conductor . In addition to Not The Messiah, the rest of the season will include Handel’s Susanna with Isabel Leonard, Daniela Mack, Javier Abreu and at Town Hall in February and ’s The Road of Promise with Anthony Dean Griffey, , Mark Delavan and Philip Cutlip at Carnegie Hall in May.

The group is committed to doing operas in concert, with a focus on large scale operas like The Grapes of Wrath, and will include workshops of two new operas in their current season.

They will also sing Verdi’s Requieum at Avery Fisher Hall.
