The annual fundraiser will take place March 30 at the Edison Ballroom near Times Square, and will feature a performance directed by Tony winner (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), whose world-premiere musical Brooklynite is currently playing at the Vineyard. Other celebrity guests slated to make an appearance include (Angels in America), (The Scottsboro Boys), ("The Piano"), (Finding Neverland), (Equus), (Catch Me If You Can) and (The Normal Heart).
The 2015 gala will honor Tony Award-winning producer , whose productions have garnered 20 Tonys, Olivier Awards and one Pulitzer Prize. Since 2009 she has been co-chair to the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities, selected by President Barack Obama.
