Actor-historian Ellie MacPherson, who made her Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below debut with Happy Birthday Mr. President!, returns to take on the personas of American First Ladies in Happy Birthday, Mr. President! First Ladies Edition May 29 at 9:30 PM. Expect songs from Sondheim, Radiohead, Kander and Ebb, and classic Americana in this cabaret classroom about what it means to be American.
Up-and-coming writers from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts will showcase material from their new musicals June 15 at 11:30 PM. The evening will feature 15-minute selections of I Believe in Darcy Green by Martha-Emily Harvel and Kelsey Christine; Heartbeat by Nathan Fosbinder and Molly Reisman; The Valley by Eric Fegan and Jamie Maletz; and S.T.E.M. GRLZ! by Andi Lee Carter and Judy Yin.
