The romantic comedy, currently premiering stateside at A.R.T., previously enjoyed a successful run in London's West End.

The North American premiere of the West End hit Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), playing American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, began performances May 20, and a special music video has been released in celebration.

Written by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) is a romantic comedy that follows a na茂ve and impossibly upbeat Brit, Dougal, who has just landed in New York for his estranged father鈥檚 second wedding. When Robin, the sister of the bride, picks him up from the airport, they embark on an serendipitous adventure through New York City.

Pitts and Sam Tutty star in the production, which is directed and choreographed by Tim Jackson. Running through June 29 at the Loeb Drama Center in Harvard Square, opening night is set for May 30.

The musical previously played at the Off-West End Kiln Theatre and the West End鈥檚 Criterion Theatre, and featured scenic and costume design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Tony Gayle and Cody Spencer, music supervision by Nick Finlow, and orchestrations by Lux Pyramid.

Hair, wig, and makeup design are by Earon Chew Nealey, and Jeffrey Campos is the music director. Judith Schoenfeld is the production stage manager. Fatimah Amill is the assistant stage manager. Casting is by C12 Casting's Stephen Kopel.
