Well, it finally happened. The queens of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars got to lip sync to an original Broadway cast album, namely Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked. See the special lip sync performance above.
The lip sync is the culmination of a special Wicked-themed episode that saw the queens pairing up and creating looks inspired by goodness and wickedness. But don't expect to see Elphabas and Glindas鈥攖he queens were tasked with thinking way more outside the box than just recreating those iconic characters.
Besides, the episode featured stage favorites and Wicked film stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as guest judges, so Elphaba and Glinda were already on hand. The two were there to promote the upcoming November release of Wicked: For Good, the second in the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical.
