Broadway Asia and Broadway International Group is one of the leading pre-eminent international producing, general management and licensing firms, is in a period of expansion. We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our team.

Current and upcoming BA and BIG projects include: International Tour of Roald Dahl鈥檚 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a first-class creative team touring throughout the global market, the World Premiere in Edinburgh of a new musical World鈥檚 Greatest Lover followed by the West End and global licenses, a new interactive immersive Becoming Marilyn Monroe premiering in Zurich, Switzerland followed by global touring, and a new venue and hilarious comedy premiering at the Wynn Hotel Group in Macao directed by John Rando, as well as upcoming Broadway productions and other global tours and licenses all while liaising with high-level creative and management teams in a fast-paced environment. The Finance Manager will perform daily operational tasks using QuickBooks and accounting practices and principals. They will be assisting the Director of Operations and Senior Management in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions as well as assisting with various human resources and administrative duties.

An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong accounting, bookkeeping and analytical skills, an attention to detail, and a desire to work with a variety of people across all internal departments and global partners. Exceptional candidates will not only have a strong background in finance, but will be excited about the future of live theater and entertainment

The Finance Associate will perform a variety of tasks including:
- accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts;
- insurance policies;
- develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;
- defining bookkeeping policies and procedures;
- reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted;
- prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends;
- collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees;
- oversee all intercompany transactions/reconciliations and credit card statements;
- understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.);
- review and adhere to department budgets;
- reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified through proactive analysis of financial documents;
- preparation of annual tax returns in conjunction with company accountant;
- other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, theatre, management, or a related field
- QuickBooks proficiency including Classes and Customers: Jobs.
- Ability to multi-task, work rapidly (yet carefully), and enjoy being part of a team.
- Strong accounting and mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Work within a team environment
- Familiarity with business principles and practices
- Understanding of data privacy standards
- Knowledge and passion for the theater business.
Salary: $1200 - $1500 will depend on candidate鈥檚 qualifications and experience with significant growth opportunities

This position is a full time salaried position with access to health insurance, benefits and vacation policies.
