DESCRIPTION
BLACK SPECTRUM THEATRE HAS ENTERED ITS 56TH SEASON! WE ARE HONORED TO CONTINUE THE LEGACY OF STORYTELLING, ENTERTAINING AND BUILDING COMMUNITY IN SOUTHEAST JAMAICA QUEENS!
Our OUTDOOR HISTORY PARK series has been going strong! This series is aimmed at edcuating local schools on profound moments in Black History, Our History! Through Live Renenatments we transport our young audiences to these pivotal moments and educate them so many things that are left out of the history books!
Our next production in this series is History of Black Music written by Celeste Bedford Walker and directed by Lawrence Floyd! This is a 45 minute piece performed outdoors.
We are searching for talented actors who can sing and dance!

RATE IS $125 PER SHOW WITH A ONE TIME $50 TRAVEL STIPEND.
