SYNOPSIS:
Peggy Sawyer, an ambitious tap dancer from Allentown, PA, gets a job in the chorus of a new Broadway musical and winds up substituting for the star on opening night. As the director urges her, "You're going out there a chorus girl 鈥� but you've got to come back A STAR!鈥� The score includes 鈥淪huffle Off to Buffalo,鈥� 鈥淲e're in the Money,鈥� 鈥淟ullaby of Broadway鈥� and the title song.
