Cabaret & Concert News Chip Zien and Christine Pedi Star in Concert Version of Two by Two Lyricist Martin Charnin will narrate the performance at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.

Chip Zien and Christine Pedi will star in a concert performance of the rarely-seen 1970 Richard Rodgers-Martin Charnin-Peter Stone musical Two by Two that retells the Biblical story of Noah and the Ark.

Charnin will be on hand to narrate the 7 PM, November 16 performance at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below in New York City.

Based on the play The Flowering Peach by Clifford Odets, Two by Two tells the story of Noah鈥檚 preparations for the Great Flood and its aftermath. The original Broadway production, which starred Danny Kaye in a legendary scenery-chewing performance as Noah, also featured Madeleine Kahn, Harry Goz, Marilyn Cooper, and Joan Copeland in supporting roles.

The score includes 鈥淚 Do Not Know a Day I Did Not Love You,鈥� 鈥淭wo by Two,鈥� 鈥淵ou,鈥� and 鈥淲hen It Dries.鈥�

Zien originated the role of the Baker in Into the Woods and Mendel the psychiatrist in the Off-Broadway production of March of Falsettos. Pedi has been featured in Forbidden Broadway, Newsical, and Spamilton.

The Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below concert will also showcase Tiffan Borelli, Frank Calamaro, Mackenzie Perpico, Michiko Sasaki, Jared Starkey, and Richard E. Waits. Curtis Reynolds will serve as musical director and pianist. The concert will feature images and artwork from the original production.

Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street, beneath Studio 54, in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $35 to $75 (plus a $25 food/drink minimum), can be ordered . Tickets on the day of performance after 4 PM are available only by calling (646) 476-3551.
