News Classic Movie Musicals Get Monthlong Broadcast on PBS Reel 13, the community of filmlovers affiliated with parent company WNET New York Thirteen, will present a classic song-and-dance film each week in October, starting with "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" Oct. 4.

According to press notes, "Every Saturday night beginning at 9 PM, viewers can catch a Hollywood Classic hosted by film historian Neal Gabler, followed by an Indie, hosted by Columbia University professor Richard Pe帽a." Each evening will finish off with a short film chosen from viewer's votes out of a selection of three at .

Reel 13 is funded by the Sy Syms Foundation and the Rubin Museum of Art. For more information visit .
