Gideon Irving has developed his musical solo show, My Name Is Gideon: I鈥檓 Probably Going To Die, Eventually, over the course of 500 performances in living rooms around the world. Direct from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Irving will debut the play Off-Broadway this fall.
My Name Is Gideon: I鈥檓 Probably Going To Die, Eventually will begin performances September 29 at Walkerspace, located at 46 Walker Street in New York.
Irving has been touring his show from one town to the next for the past five years, performing and sleeping in the homes of strangers. The solo show features song and storytelling, as well as the use of 15 different instruments, including the banjo, bouzouki, waterphone, shruti box, mbira, whirly tube and scacciapensieri.
Performances will play Off-Broadway through October 30.

Ewen Wright is the artistic consultant. Scenic design is by Silvosky Studios, with lighting design by Stephen Terry and costume design by Alice Tavener. Casey Alexander Smith is the property master.
