The songs of Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sting, whose musical The Last Ship ran on Broadway during the 2014鈥�2015 season, will be heard on the New York stage again January 16 when performers John McDaniel and Barb Jungr reunite for a single performance of their cabaret show Float Like a Butterfly鈥擳he Music of Sting at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.
The show, which premiered at Joe鈥檚 Pub in Manhattan in June, includes Sting hits 鈥淔ields of Gold,鈥� 鈥淢essage in a Bottle,鈥� 鈥淓very Little Thing,鈥� and 鈥淓nglishman in New York.鈥�
The Grammy- and Emmy Award-winning has served as musical director, arranger, orchestrator, and/or conductor on numerous Broadway shows, including Bonnie & Clyde, Catch Me If You Can, Brooklyn, Taboo, and the 1994 revival of Grease.
McDaniel and Jungr appeared previously at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below in 2016 in a concert of Beatles music. That concert, Come Together, was recorded and released in October 2016, and was celebrated in a January concert at Don鈥檛 Tell Mama.
