Additional casting has been announced for the one-night-only concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine鈥檚 Into the Woods, set to take place July 8 at New York City鈥檚 Town Hall.
Original Company cast member Pamela Myers will play Jack鈥檚 Mother, with Lee Wilkof (Waitress, Little Shop of Horrors) as the Mysterious Man, Kaley Ann Voorhees (The Phantom of the Opera) as Rapunzel, Timothy Warmen (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) as Cinderella鈥檚 Father, Tee Boyich (Mean Girls) as Lucinda, and Susan Blackwell ([title of show]) as the voice of The Giant.
They join a cast led by Tony winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) as the Witch, Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck (On The Town) as the Baker, Kate Shindle (Fun Home) as the Baker鈥檚 Wife, and Betsy Wolfe (Waitress) as Cinderella, with Caitlin Houlahan (Waitress) as Little Red, Jordan Matthew Brown (The Book of Mormon) as Jack, John Riddle (Frozen) as Cinderella鈥檚 Prince, Zach Adkins (Anastasia) as Rapunzel鈥檚 Prince, Antoinette Comer (Mamma Mia!) as Florinda, Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys)as the Wolf, and Melvin Tunstall III (Beautiful) as the Steward.
Cleveland Musical Theatre Artistic Director Miles J. Sternfeld will direct the concert with choreography by Mart铆n C茅spedes, scenic design by Gabriel Firestone, costume design by Sydney Gallas, lighting design by Zach Blane, sound design by Patrick La Chance, hair/makeup design by Robbie Amodeo, stage management by Giles T. Horne, and casting by Jamibeth Margolis, CSA.
