News Tyne Daly, Marin Ireland, Jay O. Sanders and More Will Honor Estelle Parsons at Cherry Lane Gala Oct. 6 The Cherry Lane Theatre will celebrate its 90th anniversary Oct. 6 with a gala event featuring a starry lineup of performers and presenters.

Scheduled performers include , , , , Crystal Dickinson, Dul茅 Hill, , , , Mark Linn-Baker, David McElwee, Kevin O'Rourke, , , , Adriana Trigiani and , as well as celebrated playwright . The evening's program will feature excerpts from some of the most cherished productions throughout Cherry Lane's history: The Way Of The World by William Congreve (1924); 's Gay Divorce (1960); Mrs. Dally Has A Lover by and starring (1962); The Zoo Story by (1962); 's True West (1982); Black Humor: The Comedy of Lewis Black (1998); and Saint Lucy's Eyes by Bridgette A. Wimberly.

The program will include a tribute to Tony-nominated and Academy Award-winning actress Parsons (, ), who made her Cherry Lane debut in 1962 with Hanley's Mrs. Dally Has A Lover. Parsons, along with the film and television producers David and Elizabeth McFadzean ("Home Improvement," "What Women Want"), will receive Cherry Lane's Visionary Award for their contributions to the arts.
