When Elvis Met the Beatles, written by Colin Carberry and Glenn Patterson, will make its world premiere in the Ogunquit Playhouse's upcoming 93rd season in Ogunquit, Maine.
Featuring hits of both Presley and the Beatles, performances are scheduled for August 28鈥揝eptember 27. The production is set in Presley's Los Angeles mansion, which will soon welcome the Liverpool rock band that took the world by storm. When Elvis Met the Beatles is based on the secretive meeting between the music sensations in August 1965.
The 2025 summer season will launch May 15鈥揓une 14 with a new staging of Irene Sankoff and David Hein's Tony-nominated Come From Away, set in the Newfoundland town that welcomed 7,000 stranded passengers on 9/11. The season will also include the classic American musical Guys and Dolls (June 19鈥揓uly 19), a reimagining of the 1998 Broadway musical High Society (July 24鈥揂ugust 23), and Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Tony-winning Titanic (October 2鈥揘ovember 2).
Casting and additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.
鈥淭his is my 20th season, and I could not be more thrilled going into another excellent summer featuring beloved shows and a new work,鈥 says Ogunquit Playhouse Executive Artistic Director Bradford Kenney in a statement.
鈥淥n
