Auditions will take place in the Dowling Theatre at Trinity Repertory Company. A confirmation email will be sent which will include day-of information. Meter and garage parking is located around downtown Providence. Please give yourself ample time to commute/park and walk to the theatre for your check-in. Parking tip: Try Greene, Washington, Empire, and Fountain Streets!

Trinity Repertory Company bases decisions regarding public health on the best available science and guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH). PREPARATION SUGGESTIONS
On the day of the audition, please provide a copy of your headshot and resume stapled together. Please ensure that your resume includes the proficiency level of instruments you play, languages you speak, vocal range, dance experience, and dialect abilities.
If you would like to be considered for ALL productions: We suggest actors prepare a contemporary, classic, or Shakespearean monologue in addition to 16 bars of a song of your choice with piano accompaniment for a total of three (3) minutes or less. Please bring sheet music.
If you would like to be considered for A WINTER鈥橲 TALE and PRIMARY TRUST: Please prepare a set of contrasting monologues with one being contemporary or classic and the other being Shakespearean for a total length of three (3) minutes or less.
If you鈥檇 like to be considered for COLD WAR CHOIR PRACTICE, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and/or NEXT TO NORMAL: Please prepare a brief contemporary or classic monologue and 16 bars of a song of your choice with piano accompaniment for a total of three (3) or less. Please bring sheet music.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your audition time to allow time for parking and check-in. Upon arrival, actors will be asked to confirm their first/last name and show their AEA membership card. Once in the audition room, we ask that you introduce yourself and state what you are going to perform.

SYNOPSIS: It鈥檚 twilight in Ronald Reagan鈥檚 America and the specter of nuclear war hangs over the country 鈥� but rent is still due on the 1st. When a prominent Black conservative brings his mysteriously ill wife home for the holidays, the unplanned (and unwelcomed) reunion sets long simmering political tensions within the family to boil 鈥� and throws each member into a bizarre maze of Reaganomics, roller skating, Cold War espionage, capitalist cult predation, and鈥� choir practice. Cold War Choir Practice is a genre-defying, dark comedic thriller.

SYNOPSIS: The jealous King Leontes falsely accuses his wife Hermione of infidelity with his best friend, and she dies.
