Live performance rights to the new musical Bully No More!, which empowers its audience to treat each other with kindness and respect, are released by Tams-Witmark in conjunction with World Day of Bullying Prevention on October 2, which launches National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.
Bully No More! is created by and features characters and dialogue by Elaine Davida Sklar, who co-wrote music and lyrics with Jon Gailmor and Danielle Davis.
Sklar and Tams-Witmark are donating a portion of their revenue to non-profit organizations focused on bullying awareness and prevention.
The 45-minute musical uses archetypes from the animal kingdom to tell the story of a world inhabited by two groups: the dominant bullies (Lion, Monkey, Owl, and Rabbit) and their targets (Duck, Unicorn, Skunk, and Elephant).
Bully No More! explores the repercussions of bullying and celebrates the power of individuals to band together and stand up for what is right, while empowering and inspiring its audience to treat each other with kindness and respect.
Featuring 18 original songs, the musical is written for a cast of nine actors who can play any of the flexible roles. Bully No More! comes with prerecorded performance tracks.
