Photos: Jake Gyllenhaal Is Honored at the 2025 Manhattan Theatre Club Gala

Manhattan Theatre Club held its 2025 Spring Gala May 19 at Cipriani 42nd Street, and we've got photos that take you into the starry event.

The evening featured Jake Gyllenhaal, currently back on Broadway starring as Iago in Othello opposite Denzel Washington at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, being honored, with three-time Tony honoree and current Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends star Bernadette Peters hosting.

The evening also featured performances from Broadway's Maybe Happy Ending, Sunset Blvd., Old Friends, Dead Outlaw, and Operation Mincemeat.

Jason Michael Webb music directed the event, with sound design by Leon Rothenberg and lighting design by Joel Shier. James Fitzsimmons and Jereme Kyle Lewis served as stage managers.

Proceeds raised go towards the non-profit theatre company and its annual Broadway and Off-Broadway programming, as well as educational programs.
