Brooklyn-based writer Alison Leiby's solo show, Oh God, A Show About Abortion, officially opened at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre May 5 following previews that began April 25. It will run through June 4.
The work is directed by Lila Neugebauer and presented by Broad City co-creator and star Ilana Glazer. The show sees Leiby telling the story of a momentous summer that involved a scary visit to the "Fertility" section of a Missouri CVS, two root canals, and, finally, a trip to Planned Parenthood.

Mike Lavoie and Carlee Briglia, Bad Robot Live, and Chris Burns of AGI Entertainment produce the show, which features lighting design by Amina Alexander and sound design by Margaret Montagna.
Leiby is a co-producer on Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and has written such TV shows as The President Show, The Opposition With Jordan Klepper, and Broad City.
