This year's gala honored the Jerome L. Greene Foundation for their nearly decade-long support and commitment to Free Shakespeare in the Park. The event also honored designer Paula Scher for her three-decade partnership with The Public Theater, with her design and branding having shaped The Public's visual identity throughout the 21st century.
The evening opened with remarks from Public Theater Board Chair Luis A. Miranda Jr, and also included speeches from Executive Director Patrick Willingham, Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, and more. The event concluded with the lights of The Delacorte Theater being turned on for the first time since September 2023, allowing attendees to have a special first look at the renovated theatre.
