Calling all adventurers! Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the world鈥檚 greatest roleplaying game in the most epic way imaginable.

Dungeons & Dragons: The Twenty-Sided Tavern is an interactive live stage adventure where the audience controls the story. Set in the Forgotten Realms, this ever-evolving quest invites new heroes nightly to shape the journey. With puzzles to solve, secrets to uncover, and foes to defeat, it鈥檚 the ultimate immersive theatrical experience鈥攁nd you could be part of the team bringing the magic to life.

The Production is currently accepting applications for an experienced D3 Video Programmer to join our creative team for a short-term contract during our technical rehearsal process in Kentucky.


Key Dates:

  • Travel to KY: July 8, 2025

  • Programming / Tech: July 9鈥�19, 2025 鈥� Richmond, KY

  • Possible Extension: Through July 22, 2025

  • Location: EKU Center for the Arts 鈥� Richmond, KY


Position Overview:
The D3 Video Programmer will work closely with the Production Video Lead and Creative Video Team to program and execute video playback using Disguise (D3) systems during the production鈥檚 technical rehearsal period. The position requires a high degree of precision, flexibility, and collaboration in a fast-paced, cue-heavy environment.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Rate: $800/day 鈥� Pink Contract (Bus and Truck Agreement)

  • Travel, Housing, & Per Diem: Provided by the Production

  • Benefits: Per IATSE Bus and Truck Agreement (where applicable)


Core Responsibilities:

  • Program and maintain the video system using Disguise (D3) software

  • Collaborate with the Video Lead and creative team to execute dynamic cueing and playback

  • Integrate content updates and adjust programming based on rehearsal feedback

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to video playback or control systems

  • Provide support for on-site transitions and rehearsals as needed

  • Ensure backup systems and show files are properly maintained

  • Maintain clear documentation of all cues, updates, and media organization


Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Disguise (D3) video systems and media server operation

  • Well-versed in multi-transport control systems, including synchronization of media servers, timecode, and playback integration across departments

  • Strong understanding of signal flow, video routing, and timecode-based systems

  • Experience programming video for live theatrical or concert events

  • Comfortable working long hours in a tech environment with quick turnaround times

  • Ability to adapt to changes in content and cues quickly

  • Calm under pressure and thrives in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams

  • Touring experience is a plus, but not required
