Mischief Theatre, the award winning comedy troupe behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and Mind Mangler, will bring a new show to the West End stage for the chaotic Christmas season: Christmas Carol Goes Wrong. The show will play the Apollo Theatre for a limited seven-week run beginning December 6 and continuing through January 25, 2026. Opening night is December 14.
The brand new comedy brings the chaos and humour of The Cornley Amateur Drama Society to the work of Charles Dickens via original members and writers of the Mischief team Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields.
Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is produced by Kenny Wax and Stage Presence. The cast and full creative team will be announced at a last date.
Prior to the West End engagement, the show will briefly tour the U.K., playing Salford, Cardiff, and Bath. Following the West End engagement, the production will go back out on tour through the end of the winter season, playing Nottingham, Aylesbury, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Canterbury.
