Music Theatre International's previously announced reconfiguration of its benefit musical revue All Together Now! is now available for licensing by schools and theatres in the U.S. and Canada.
Originally designed to help theatre companies pull themselves out of COVID-19 pandemic shortages, a revised version of the title is now available to theatre companies and groups looking to produce benefit concerts to support disaster relief.
As it was the first time around, All Together Now! is being made available free of charge, this time to theatres who have been significantly impacted by natural disasters. The customizable song list includes songs from MTI's expansive catalogue of musicals, including tunes from Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come From Away, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, Les Mis茅rables, Little Shop of Horrors, Matilda, My Fair Lady, Once On This Island, Rent, Waitress, and more. The revue is structured with multiple song options throughout the concert, giving performing groups the ability to tailor their performance to their actors and community.
The project began in 2021 as live theatre was beginning to return following a pandemic shutdown. The licensing company launched a global event that saw theatre companies around the world performing All Together Now! over one November weekend. MTI waives licensing fees for the revue, allowing as much money as possible to go towards support for the theatre companies themselves. The 2021 iteration raised more than $6 million for the more than 2,000 participating groups.
Groups wanting to perform All Together Now!: A Benefit Event for Disaster Relief can apply online for permission to perform the revue free of charge if they have been negatively affected by a disaster. Interested groups have up to two years after the event to apply, with performances to be held over a single weekend. More licensing parameters and applications are available at .
"We are extremely proud to offer All Together Now!: A Benefit Event for Disaster Relief to affected theatres," says MTI Chief Operations Officer and Director of Education and Development John Prignano in a statement. "By making this show available in perpetuity, we hope organizations can take advantage of this opportunity if the need arises. MTI is always exploring ways to give back to the theatrical community and our wish is that this show helps raise funds and welcomes people back to their theatres."
"All Together Now! is a truly collaborative effort," adds MTI President and CEO Drew Cohen. "We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of the writers who created these incredible hit songs and made them available for the revue. We also want to acknowledge the commitment of our partners who have donated their products and services to help elevate the show鈥檚 marketing and production elements. We could not have made this revue possible without everyone鈥檚 collective support."
Participating theatres will be able to access a special pre-made template on , 半岛体育's fully customizable, Broadway-quality 半岛体育 program creation platform, that will auto populate their program with all the MTI-approved data for the show, including billing information and song lists.
