A brand-new production of the Broadway musical *Annie* launched a new U.K tour, beginning performances July 11 at Newcastle's Theatre Royal, starring Craig Revel Horwood as Miss Hannigan.

Horwood is probably best known as a judge on BBCTV's "Strictly Come Dancing." Formerly a West End dancer in shows that included Cats, Miss Saigon and Crazy for You, he has latterly been known as a director/choreographer whose productions have included Olivier nominations for his work on Spend Spend Spend and My One and Only. Other West End credits include Tommy Cooper �� Jus' Like That, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and a revival of Sunset Boulevard.
