Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer and actor Ren茅e Taylor celebrated the official Off-Broadway opening of her autobiographical solo show, My Life on a Diet, now in performances at Theatre at St. Clement鈥檚. The show opened July 25 after beginning previews July 12.
My Life on a Diet is co-written with and originally directed by her late husband, Joseph Bologna. In the show, Taylor looks back on a lifetime of memorable roles in Hollywood and on Broadway, as well as a number of fad diets (including weight loss tips from Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, and Cary Grant).
My Life on a Diet is playing a six-week limited engagement through August 19.
