DESCRIPTION

In search of a S to instruct students on multiple technical aspects of theatrical productions, including designing and building sets, lighting, sound, costumes, and makeup and stage management. Students will learn the practical skills needed to work behind the scenes in a theatre or other performance venue.

Multiple teaching positions available for Summer and
other programming throughout the year.

Stagecraft Teacher requirements:

Instruction:Developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, and providing guidance to students in various stagecraft areas.

Curriculum:May create and implement a stagecraft curriculum, focusing on hands-on learning and practical application.

Mentorship: Provides mentorship to students, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in technical theatre.

Production Support: Assist with theatre productions for our education program. Providing the students with technical expertise and support for scenery, lighting, sound, and other elements.

Safety: Ensures a safe working environment in the theatre and workshop areas.

Required Skills: Knowledge of Stagecraft, Teaching Skills, Technical Proficiency, Communication Skills, Problem-Solving Skills
