Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini will celebrate the life of late Tony Award-winning legend Carol Channing March 23 at 7 PM.

Alessandrini will be joined by Christine Pedi and Michael West for the concert that will include Forbidden Broadway鈥檚 newest Carol Channing number, 鈥淭he Spirit of Channing,鈥 described as a 鈥渉ysterically bizarre and surrealistic number where Carol Channing鈥檚 Ghost roams around Broadway today dropping in and joining in on current shows like Hamilton, Anastasia, and Dear Evan Hansen.鈥

Fans can also expect classic Forbidden Broadway diva numbers celebrating Ethel Merman, Mary Martin, Chita Rivera, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as a re-creation of Channing鈥檚 takeoff on Marlene Dietrich, which prompted Dietrich to storm out of the theatre when Channing first performed it.

The concert is produced by Alessandrini and Robert W. Schneider.

鈥淚t鈥檚 divinely fitting that Forbidden Broadway, the show that ran over 30 years Off-Broadway presenting over 25 editions, should salute the magical Lady who performed Hello, Dolly! around the world for over 35 years,鈥 Alessandrini said in a statement.

Tickets, beginning at $30, are available at .
